     Everyone has that really funny story of your parent's sometime in you life. Either it's them messing up your name or in my case, trying to return trash to Target.

  It was a warm day in Wake Forest and my mom was in a rush to return some toys at our local Target. Now, everyone knows those mom's that have a trash bag in their car. Well, my mom is one of those mom's. Anyway,  she was searching for her bag with the toys in it and  found the first Target bag she could find. She quickly ran into Target and handed the lady her bag.

  Now for the funny part! The lady took her bag and started sifting through it. She looked very confused, but my mom thought nothing of it. The lady then looked at her puzzled and gave her the bag back. My mom was very perplexed! She did not get why she was getting the bag back. As she looked in the bag, she realized that she had given the lady her bag of trash!!!!! Mom apoligized and went back and got the RIGHT bag.

    The moral of this story is that even if you are in rush, slow down and make sure you have the right bag. Hopefully, my mother learned her lesson and will now always slow down can make sure she's returning her item instead of her trash!

Mom: Oh Hi honey! How was school?
Maddie: Fine!
Mom: Well, what did you do today?
Maddie: Nothing! (say's very quickly)

Maddie: Wow mom your sooooo smart and you have great eyesight! (REPARTEE!)
Mom: Excuse me? I don't understand....
Maddie: Can't you see? My hair looks awful!
Mom: Oh! Well I think you look beautiful as always!
Maddie: MOM! Your always so negative, I mean why do you always look on the bad side of everything.
Mom: Ummm? I was actually very positive.
Maddie: I was joking mom. Haven't you ever heard of sarcasm?!?
Mom: Oh of course. Well I am not listening to your bad attitude anymore. This conversation is over.
Maddie: Whatever.

What issue(s) caused Liu to take action?:  The lack of Human rights in China.

Was the issue local or global? Explain: This issue is global but Liu mostly geared his intentions toward China.

How did the person take action?: Liu took action by making a voice for all Chinese people. Even though he did that, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for trying to overthrow the government.

What media channels did he use to take action? How did he use each?: Lui used... Logos, and Ethos.
He used logos because he used statistics of how many people are in need of rights and used that to draw people in to supporting him. He used Ethos because he used real peoples stories about Human rights and used them to draw people in to support it.

How does this person inspire you?: Liu inspires me because he used his voice instead of him body to get human rights in China. This man is an inspiration to me and should be to many other kids in the world!! :)
